A Bavarian festival beneath a Brussels triumphal arch
Editors · 9 October 2026

From Wednesday 14 October 2026, Oktoberfest Brussels takes place on the Esplanade of Cinquantenaire Park beneath the triumphal arches. It runs through Saturday 24 October. A Bavarian festival thus occupies one of Brussels’ familiar landmarks.
According to the press kit, a tent of about 1,600 square metres hosts live music by Munich’s Die Platzl Oktoberfestkapelle. Bavarian food and Spaten Oktoberfestbier are on offer. The programme stresses exchange with Bavaria, while entry follows the organiser’s own rules.
Sunday 18 October is Family Day, featuring historical crossbow guilds. The organiser expects a procession from 1 pm. According to the Family Day page, children aged 15 and under enter free with a paying adult.

The press kit lists €38.50 for one seat at a shared table, including a litre of beer or soft drink. On 8 October, Ticketmaster listed tickets for nine public dates; Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 October were absent. Whether there is other public access on those days is unconfirmed.
The press kit gives opening hours of 4–11 pm Wednesday to Saturday and 11 am–6 pm on Sunday. Schuman and Merode metro stations serve the site. Check current times and ticket conditions before travelling, as the two websites differ on some details.
